Belgrave South is the bushland transition between the Dandenongs and Lysterfield. Birdsland Reserve, Lysterfield Lake Park, and the tree corridor along Wellington Road form the boundary on three sides, so properties here are large - often three to five acres - with the house set 40 to 60 metres off the road.
