Split system installation in Seaford
Seaford has two defining features that shape every install we quote there - the beach frontage running north-south along Nepean Highway, and the Kananook Creek and Seaford Wetlands flood zone that covers a wide corridor through the northern half of the suburb. Any property within 800 metres of the beach picks up measurable salt loading on outdoor equipment from the prevailing south-westerlies, and we spec coastal-treated Mitsubishi Electric or Fujitsu marine-grade condensers as a line item on any Seaford beach-side quote. Melbourne Water maps the Kananook Creek flood extent across the northern grid and about 30% of Seaford residential blocks north of Seaford Road sit inside a designated flood overlay with a flood level of 200 to 500mm on the property title. Ground-mounted outdoor units are effectively banned on flood-overlay properties because the compressor sits at the exact level that gets submerged in a January storm, and we install every flood-overlay Seaford condenser on a wall bracket at least 600mm above the ground or on a raised concrete plinth. The 1960s cream-brick veneer stock along Seaford Road, Nepean Highway and Belar Avenue is otherwise a straightforward install profile.
Direct Port Phillip Bay exposure, salt-laden south-westerlies year round, Kananook Creek flood zone in the north
Why Seaford homeowners choose Bellair
Seaford is 10 kilometres from our Botanic Ridge base and one of the quickest runs we do - practically that means we can offer same-day quotes and 48-hour install turnarounds on straightforward jobs when the diary allows. Seaford railway station is on the Frankston line and about 30% of our Seaford customers are commuters on weekday-lockbox install schedules. The suburb has heavy renovation activity on the post-war fibro shacks and beach cottages along the streets close to the foreshore - Fielding Avenue, Adele Street, Broughton Street - with owners tearing down or extending and moving from a single window-rattler air-conditioner to a proper reverse-cycle multi-head system. Typical spec is a 10 to 12kW outdoor unit feeding three heads across a two-bedroom-plus-living-area cottage floorplan. The new subdivision townhouses along Klauer Street and along the wetlands boundary arrive pre-provisioned for split systems and our job is unit installation and commissioning. Frankston Council planning is straightforward - permits are rarely required for standard external installations. Winter southerlies drive rain horizontally into south-facing walls and we install a rear drip shield on any south or south-west facing outdoor unit as standard.
What's included in your Seaford install

Matt and his team are exceptional. I sent a message Saturday morning, I received a text message and a phone call, and a site visit by 11am. I am not use to such high customer service. Matt tried to have my install done asap as we had no heating. Install was also exceptional, as his pricing and quality of install and removal of old unit is beyond expectations. Was not an easy job but his quote was so honest and fair. I can hardly notice the outside cabling (first photo). He was also so polite, professional and caring. Thank you Matt and team. Will contact shortly for further split systems install. I will only contact your company in the future. Also, your system recommendation has been amazing. Many, many thanks for everything.

Communication with Matt was seamless and transparent. He came to inspect my place prior for a quick chat and to issue an estimated quote not long after. We eventually had a date fixed for two units to be installed. One required replacement of the previous old unit (included removal from property), and the second required a new hole to be drilled for installation. Matt and his team took roughly 3.5-4h. They were immaculate with their work! They left my place decently clean. I would have to say that this was the best customer service that I have had. Everything was discussed clearly, and my questions were addressed appropriately by Matt. I would highly recommended them if you are still considering! Thank you very much, Matt and your boys!

The finished result looks incredibly neat, professional, and well thought out. What truly stood out was Matt’s professionalism and communication at every stage of the installation. It is clear that Matt and his team genuinely take pride in their work and customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend Bellair to anyone looking for high-quality air conditioning installation services.

Matt did an excellent job installing our new Mitsubishi Electric heating and cooling system. He was professional, punctual, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The installation was completed to a high standard, and the work area was left clean and tidy. We're very happy with the result and appreciate the added peace of mind from the 5-year Mitsubishi Electric manufacturer warranty and 7-year Bellair workmanship warranty. Highly recommend Matt and the Bellair team.
