Down toward Green Point and the beach, salt in the air is a real factor — outdoor units on the exposed streets need siting off the worst walls and specced for the coastal environment or they won't last. Sizing across Hampton varies wildly between a snug original bungalow and a double-storey rebuild with a glass rear, so we quote to the actual home. Access can be tight on the older blocks with established gardens, and we plan the approach before the day so nothing gets rushed.
