Keysborough's been quietly transforming — the old market-garden flats that fed Melbourne for generations are giving way to the Sandhurst golf estate and a run of newer developments with big, modern homes, while older brick homes and remaining smallholdings hang on in other pockets. That gives us two very different jobs under one name. In the newer estates and around Sandhurst, the homes are large, open-plan and often double-storey — clean back-to-back runs, considered cavity runs to upstairs bedrooms, and multi-heads to cover a generous floorplan off as few condensers as possible. The older brick homes closer to the original streets have defined rooms and switchboards that often need an upgrade before they'll carry a modern reverse-cycle load. On the bigger new homes, sizing is the key call — a lot of glazing on the living zones and high ceilings mean we size to the volume, not the floor area. Keysborough's flat and inland with no coast, so it's clean distribution and sizing for hot summers with plenty of west sun on the newer homes. Being one of the closer suburbs to us, we know the difference between the estate stock and the older pockets, and we plan each job to the actual home.

What's included in your Keysborough install

Matt tried to have my install done asap as we had no heating. Install was also exceptional, as his pricing and quality of install and removal of old unit is beyond expectations. One required replacement of the previous old unit (included removal from property), and the second required a new hole to be drilled for installation. Matt and his team took roughly 3.5-4h.
