Split system installation in Tynong
Tynong is a small rural township on the Princes Freeway between Nar Nar Goon and Bunyip, and the housing stock is dominated by rural-residential acreage rather than standard suburban blocks. Typical Tynong property size is 4000 square metres to 10 hectares with a main dwelling, a shed or stable, and often a working farm outbuilding or converted barn - practically that means Tynong installs are almost universally multi-head reverse-cycle systems with 15 to 30 metre pipe runs between the outdoor unit and the furthest indoor head. The Gumbuya World theme park is directly south of the township and pulls weekend and school-holiday traffic on the Princes Freeway - install schedules avoid Saturday peak periods. Winter cold is severe on the rural blocks with overnight minimums touching -2 to -5 degrees on the coldest mornings and we spec cold-climate rated Mitsubishi Electric or Fujitsu compressors with base-tray heaters on outdoor units as standard rather than as an upgrade. BAL ratings apply to properties backing onto forest reserve or with heavy on-site tree cover - typically BAL-19 to BAL-40 depending on vegetation density.
Cardinia rural belt, cold frost pockets in winter with -2 to -5 degree overnight lows, hot dry summers, elevated bushfire risk on treed acreage
Why Tynong homeowners choose Bellair
The drive from Botanic Ridge is 42 kilometres and 45 minutes via the Princes Freeway - Tynong is one of our regular Cardinia rural belt destinations and we schedule full-day slots with two installs booked back-to-back to make the round trip economical. Cardinia Shire planning has 3 to 4 week turnaround for standard external installations but the acreage properties on Green Wedge or Rural Living zoning have stricter external cladding and permit requirements. The renovated country farmhouses along Tynong-North Road, Nar Nar Goon Road and the streets toward Bunyip are increasingly whole-house reverse-cycle upgrades replacing tired wood-stove-plus-single-air-conditioner setups - typical spec is a 14 to 16kW outdoor unit feeding four or five indoor heads across the main dwelling. The working farm outbuildings and converted barn conversions have separate installs - typically a basic 2.5 to 3.5kW single-head system for staff comfort or workshop climate control. Native fauna is a real consideration - possums, ringtails and the occasional wombat use undisturbed outdoor unit housings for shelter.
What's included in your Tynong install
Included in the Tynong quote: the cold-climate rated split system in your chosen size and brand with base-tray heater on the outdoor unit as standard, all copper pipework and electrical cabling, ember-resistant condenser housing and stainless intake mesh for BAL-29 or higher properties (quoted separately as a line item), ground-pad or wall-bracket install as suits the site, possum-guard mesh over compressor cavities as standard, drain to the nearest legal point, controller pairing and commissioning on both cooling and heating cycles, cleanup and removal of packaging, full manufacturer warranty and our own 7-year workmanship guarantee. Not included: Cardinia Shire planning permits, BAL certification (issued by an independent bushfire consultant), engineering reports for multi-building acreage installs, electrical switchboard upgrades on older rural properties, penetrations through structural steel or concrete, tree-clearance permits, and pipe runs longer than the standard 5-metre kit which are quoted per additional metre before we start work.

Matt and his team are exceptional. I sent a message Saturday morning, I received a text message and a phone call, and a site visit by 11am. I am not use to such high customer service. Matt tried to have my install done asap as we had no heating. Install was also exceptional, as his pricing and quality of install and removal of old unit is beyond expectations. Was not an easy job but his quote was so honest and fair. I can hardly notice the outside cabling (first photo). He was also so polite, professional and caring. Thank you Matt and team. Will contact shortly for further split systems install. I will only contact your company in the future. Also, your system recommendation has been amazing. Many, many thanks for everything.

Communication with Matt was seamless and transparent. He came to inspect my place prior for a quick chat and to issue an estimated quote not long after. We eventually had a date fixed for two units to be installed. One required replacement of the previous old unit (included removal from property), and the second required a new hole to be drilled for installation. Matt and his team took roughly 3.5-4h. They were immaculate with their work! They left my place decently clean. I would have to say that this was the best customer service that I have had. Everything was discussed clearly, and my questions were addressed appropriately by Matt. I would highly recommended them if you are still considering! Thank you very much, Matt and your boys!

Matt did an excellent job installing our new Mitsubishi Electric heating and cooling system. He was professional, punctual, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The installation was completed to a high standard, and the work area was left clean and tidy. We're very happy with the result and appreciate the added peace of mind from the 5-year Mitsubishi Electric manufacturer warranty and 7-year Bellair workmanship warranty. Highly recommend Matt and the Bellair team.
